Cass County, Michigan is populated with over 100 lakes that provide opportunities for year-round fishing, boating and swimming. There are six county parks where visitors enjoy outdoor recreational sports activities that span every season. Our county parks have facilities for camping, trails for hiking and mountain biking, 7 miles of groomed cross-country and snowshoe trails in winter, equestrian trails, kayak, canoe and boat launches, a class A trout stream for fly fishing, and much more. Cass County is an outdoor enthusiasts paradise! Check out Cass County’s parks.
Cass County’s rich agricultural community helps support the county with farming and pork production, making Cass County the primary producer of pork in Michigan. Today our agricultural community provides many opportunities for residents and visitors to buy fresh local produce and meats, including organic. During the harvest season there are many farmer’s markets, orchards and U-pick farms, which we will help you find.
Cass County has many social, cultural and sports events for families and people of all interests. Find something for your family to do this weekend!
