Home > Gordon Beach Inn
Built in the 1920's, the inn was renovated more than a decade ago with a look towards its traditional heritage, keeping the vast stone fireplace, the wood planked floors and the cozy woods feeling engendered by the surrounding landscape. Artisans hand stenciled the walls and corridors with designs based on botanical themes and local Native American patterns further enhancing its charm.
There are 20 rooms plus Timothy's, an award winning restaurant whose menu includes such fare as Coconut Macadamia Nut Crusted Grouper, sautéed and served with pan-seared spinach and garlic chips, finished with grapefruit butter; Miso Glazed Wild King Salmon - teriyaki-marinated, coated in sesame seeds and sautéed. Laid on a bed of crispy fried spinach and drizzled with ginger remoulade and Horseradish Crusted Michigan Whitefish teamed with caramelized onion balsamic jus and finished with a lemon basil emulsion.
