The Greater Niles area is often referred to as the "Gateway to Michigan", as it is situated between I-80 and I-94. Eight passenger trains make stops at our Historic Amtrak Depot. Five state and federal highways pass through Niles providing access to markets across the USA. Niles is served by a business airport,Jerry Tyler Memorial and is 15 minutes from a major regional airport, South Bend Airport.
