Located in a historic 1870 redbrick school house, the Cherry Creek Winery offers visitors a tasting room and a chance to not only buy hand crafted locally made wines but also fresh baked French Baguettes or John's special Vintners Blend locally roasted coffee. Cherry Creek also features organic foods as well as locally grown delicacies. The winery is part of the Pioneer Wine Trail which winds its way through Jackson, Lenawee, Monroe and Washtenaw counties. Their 2004 Pinot Noir was the Bronze Medal Winner - Michigan Wines & Spirits Competition and their 2003 Montage, a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Chancellor Noir, described as having notes of black cherry, was the Gold Medal Winner - Michigan Wines & Spirits Competition.
